The last couple of weeks, we have felt the excitement of "Spring In The Air" here at JETTS. It isn't only the weather, but a flurry of activity from all of you and from the boxes that arrive at our back door each day filled with spring merchandise. Your visits are the most important factor. Here's just a sample (not all) of why we enjoy coming to work every day. Joyce - our local hostess with the mostest - brought her houseguests in to visit and shop. We hadn't seen Mary Alice from Arkansas for a couple of years. It is always a pleasure to have Virginia in when she's down from Wichita. That same week, we were able to hlep Jane from Hutchinson and Lisa from Liberal with their work wardrobes. Both always get asked, "Where do you get your clothes"? On a more local note, Karen from Norwich had us help her with an outfit for a cousin's wedding as well as a few other things. Her husband commented that they could go to Wichita but he would rather come here because it is so much easier to shop and we help find the right things - something that people often find hard to do in the large city stores. We received a call from Donna in Oklahoma City raving about the things we had sent for her approval - she said opening our packages is like getting a package from the "Book of the Month" club, only MUCH BETTER! Donna uses her monthly savings card. THANKS to all of you who donated food/cash to activate your savings card - over $700 in cash/food was given to the food bank in February.
   Of course, visits from fashionable Verda Belle are not only pleasing to our eyes, but taste buds, to, as she is always "cooking" up something for us to enjoy. As I reflect back, we also helped Barb prepare for a convention she will be attendng. Several poeple were in for baby gifts. It's always great to share in the excitement of "new life". We also grieved as we buried a couple of good friends and we helped with  funeral attire. Then, there is always the everyday excitement of kids in for something to wear to a school program or contest. Now, we are getting to share in their excitement as we rent TUXES to guys for prom.
   We had ladies that were happy to see our shoe selection and purchased several pairs when they found we carried their hard to find size. We now carry NATURALIZER shoes, BORN, SOFFTS, and SOFT SPOTS. Many of you, are just so ready for spring that you want something new - often bright and cheery. Whether it's one of our new purses or a complete outfit.
   A 92-year young gentleman from Alva was especially pleased when we were able to get him his jumpsuits that he has worn for years. He had purchased them in the past from Mueller's. It took a couple of tries because he had changed sizes, but each of his visits were so entertaining that it was tempting to get it wrong one more time to hear his "life stories" (We now have in stock 2 men's jumpsiuits in size 48R - burgundy or blue).
   Life has many peaks and valleys - wardrobe often plays a part in these times. We appreciate you letting us be a part of your life - THANK YOU - Come see us soon.
